Produced by maverick genius Hal Wilner, “Rogue’s Gallery” will be coming to live for the very first time via a threesome concerts featuring contemporary re-workings of “Rogue's Gallery - Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys”
The idea for Rogue's Gallery germinated on the set of the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie, where actor Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski became fascinated with the lore and fable of the pirates and sailors.
With the house band consisting of Kate St John (Musical Director) Leo Abrahams (guitar), Andy Newmark (drums), Dudley Phillips (bass), David Coulter (musical saw) and Martyn Barker (percussion).
Featuring Tim Robbins, Teddy & Kami Thompson, Jenni Muldaur, the Divine Comedy, Chris Difford, Gavin Friday,Three Pruned Men, Shane MacGowan, the Langley Sisters, Eliza and Martin Carthy, Norma Waterson, David Thomas, Robyn Hitchcock, Baby Gramps, White Magic, Sandy Dillon, Rachel & Becky Unthank and Julie Fowlis.
