DeVotchKa to Play Summer Festivals & Shows with David Byrne

Denver’s beloved Romani-influenced, Mariachi-flavored indie rock quartet DeVotchKa have announced a summer of festival appearances and shows supporting the equally acclaimed David Byrne.

Of the DeVotchKa live experience, the Austin Chronicle wrote, “DeVotchKa demonstrated once again why they're one of those indescribable bands worth your time. Energetic and organic, emotional and original…Urata's voice, a heart-wrenching stream of minor-key passion, and the whole of DeVotchKa's music is the same: light shining in the dark,” while NPR’s “All Songs Considered” opined “it was an absolutely enchanting performance, the kind that leaves you feeling pretty good about the world.”
