SAINTSENECA RELEASES “SLEEPER HOLD” VIDEO VIA

Under The Radar

Band Touring North American - Both Headlining and
w/ Thao And The Get Down Stay Down

Under The Radar is premiering a new video from Saintseneca. The clip is for the band’s song “Sleeper Hold” from their recent release Such Things. The song features the singer-songwriter  Zac Little along with co singer Maryn Jones, perfectly contrasting the band’s philosophical explorations with some perfectly realized power pop complete with crunching chords and a soaring anthemic chorus, all of which NPR Music described as “a jangly, buoyant foot-stomper of a philosophical missive.”

The accompanying video features some rather dramatic and evocative animation by Sara Drake depicting an angel neglecting a terrible accident and instead embarking on a jaunt around town.

“Animation felt like good medium to accompany this song,” Little says. “Cartoons have a legacy of accessibility. That's what this song is - abstract and esoteric ideas, with a conventional pop motif as the mechanism of delivery. It is an honor to have the very talented Sara Drake work with us on this video.” Watch here: Under The Radar

Saintseneca is currently touring North America, both headlining and teaming with the band Thao And The Get Down Stay Down.
