Los Angeles duo The Milk Carton Kids will be appearing on the beloved radio musical review the Prairie Home Companion this April 13th. The act will perform at the Town Hall in New York City where they will play songs from their critically heralded new album The Ash & Clay, for which The LA Times praises the band as demonstrating absolute mastery of their craft."

The Milk Carton Kids are Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan. While the duo's most obvious musical reference is the classic folk revival sound of twin acoustic guitars and matching harmonies, they expands and contradict that rich legacy with highly inventive guitar lines and intricately interwoven vocals.

The duo, which formed in Los Angeles in 2011, has quickly amassed a devoted and growing following based on the simple purity of their music and their deadpan stage humor. They are currently touring North America in support of their Anti- debut The Ash & Clay.
