            <title>zZz release Running With The Beast on January 19th 2009</title>

            <description>Dutch psychedelic-electro, garage soul and rock &amp; roll duo Björn Ottenheim and Daan Schinkel, otherwise known as zZz release their new album, &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Running With The Beast&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;, through Anti on Monday 19th January. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Running With The Beast&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; features the single Grip, the video for which, directed by Roel Wouters, received the Award for &quot;Best International Music Video&quot; at the Music Video Festival in France and the song and remake of the video is currently being used in the Fiat TV advert, you know the one with the trampoline: &lt;a href=&quot;http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=_WqjJQ6KY28&amp;&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;click here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
zZz were formed in Amsterdam in 2001 when Björn (vocals/drums) and Daan (organ) decided to make music with a simple drum kit and an old $50 church organ and some electronic gadgets in their basement. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
zZz released their first demo Bikini Inferno in 2002 followed by debut The Sound Of zZz in 2005, which had Spin Magazine enthusing their music is &quot;both innovating and captivating&quot; whilst the NME professed zZz are &quot;the dark oily afterbirth of organ-punk… electro-krautrock loons.&quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The band have already built up a notorious live reputation having toured worldwide with the likes of - Fatboy Slim, Juliette &amp; The Licks, Gossip, Franz Ferdinand and The Happy Mondays.</description>

            <description>Anti- Records is pleased to announce the signing of Dutch &quot;dirt rock&quot; duo &lt;b&gt;zZz&lt;/b&gt;.  The Amsterdam-based duo, consisting of Björn Ottenheim and Daan Schinkel, was formed in 2001 and makes a remarkable mix of psychedelic electro wave, garage soul and dirty rock &amp; roll. The sound of &lt;b&gt;zZz&lt;/b&gt; is based on an old church organ and a simple drum kit, getting help and amplification from various electronic equipment. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;zZz&apos;&lt;/b&gt; last album has received rave reviews in the UK press: Spin Magazines has described their music as &quot;both innovating and captivating&quot;, NME called it &quot;the dark oily afterbirth of organ-punk and &quot;the electro-krautrock loons of &lt;b&gt;zZz&lt;/b&gt;&quot; even took Q-Magazine &quot;by surprise&quot;. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
On July 14th, &lt;b&gt;zZz&lt;/b&gt; released &quot;Grip&quot; - the first single from their forthcoming album &quot;Running With The Beast&quot;. The video for &quot;Grip&quot; recently received the Award of &quot;Best International Music Video&quot; at the Music Video Festival in Aix-en-Provence, France. Next to that, the song and remake of the video will be used for a multimillion TV ad campaign by a well-known automobile manufacturer, which will kick off in July 2008 in UK and Germany.   &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The band has built up a notorious live reputation by extensive worldwide touring with the artists like Fatboy Slim, Juliette &amp; The Licks, Jarvis Cocker, Franz Ferdinand and The Happy Mondays. A new UK tour has been scheduled and announced for July 2008 and will be followed by a club tour throughout Europe, Canada and the USA from August onwards.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&quot;Running With The Beast&quot; will be out in the fall off 2008 worldwide (excl. BeNeLux) through Anti  Records. In BeNeLux the album will be out through Excelsior Recordings.</description>
