JOLIE HOLLAND'S THE LIVING AND THE DEAD HAILED AS A CAREER BEST

Singer/Songwriter's Stunning Video for "Mexico City" Premieres Today on AOL/Spinner

North American Tour with Openers Herman Dune Oct/Nov

It its first week of release, Jolie Holland's latest the Living and the Dead is receiving unanimous praise from critics, while the unparalleled chanteuse is charming crowds across the US and Canada in a month-long tour with French anti-folk duo Herman Dune as main support which began on Sunday in San Digeo.

Additionally, Holland filmed a video for the album's first single "Mexico City" in Joshua Tree last month. Taking a cue from the song's themes of life and death, love and loss, the video is filled with images of the gorgeous Holland walking across a deserted expanse and finds her in a Dia de los Muertos celebration at nightfall. The video for "Mexico City" premieres today on AOL/Spinner.
