Tim Fite Announces Cross Country Live Extravaganza

Famously charismatic performer Tim Fite has just announced a series of North American tour dates. For this spectacular cross country jaunt, Fite will reportedly stage a show unlike anything seen before, incorporating clever songwriting, compelling narrative projections and vaudevillainous showmanship for an unparalleled and captivating evening. Every aspect of the seamless show will be accompanied by painstakingly produced visual content that makes the whole greater than the sum of it's many many many parts. An unnamed foreign journalist who was afforded a sneak preview reports that the show is "like a multi-media multi-vitamin; at first, it looks like it might be a bit challenging to gulp down, but once you do, you'll feel like a million bucks and won't want to wait for your next dose." All tour dates will additionally feature the acclaimed duo Azure Ray.

Tim Fite has garnered rave reviews and ravenous fans for his two proper albums released on ANTI- as well as a few he's released on his own website and iTunes for FREE download prior to those nice Radiohead fellows. In fact, "Over The Counter Culture," a blistering, hip-hop based 15 track examination of commercial culture, has been downloaded over 100,000 times, and was named one of the best albums of the year by the likes of The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, and NPR.

Oh, but there's so much more...a work in progress, a constant evolution, a growing up on record and on stage that several bio writers have come to tears over. There's blues, there¹s folky/indie/alt-country, there's Halloween records only available for download on October 31st, and there¹s tons of artwork, video, audience participation, and occasionally watermelons and gumball machines at select festivals. But in spite of it all, Tim Fite carries an unmistakable burden with an earnestness that is disarming, intimidating, and welcoming all at the same time. Tim Fite is currently working on the follow-up to Fair Ain't Fair due out on Anti-Records in 2011.

Fite will also be participating in a prestigious art show occurring in San Francisco.
