Lost In The Trees Triumphant In Los Angeles and Chicago
Chapel Hill, NC's Lost In The Trees were recently in Los Angeles for a string of triumphant performances winning over audiences with their emotionally powerful merging of folk, classical and pop. The group performed at Spaceland, Amoeba Records, Elysium Foundation, McCabe's Guitar Shop and Hotel Café.
While in town they recorded an episode of The Blue Microphone Podcast hosted by Tyler Barth. The band visited the Blue Studios and performed three songs from their new album All Alone In An Empty House including "Song For A Painter," "All Alone In An Empty House" and "For Leah and Chloe." The musicians talked about the formation of the group, gave their impressions of the album tracks and played some of their favorite songs by other artists including works by Aretha Franklin and Kate Bush.
Also while in Los Angeles, Lost In The Trees played for the children at The Totally Kids Healthcare Center on behalf of the Art of Elysium Foundation - dedicated to enriching the lives of artists and critically ill children.
