MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD EXTEND "HEY WORLD" TOUR INTO 2009 AMID SUCCESS OF LATEST RELEASE "ALL REBEL ROCKERS"
January 9th, 2009...Michael Franti & Spearhead are set to kick off 2009 with their "Hey World" Tour, set to open on January 28th in Salt Lake City at The Depot. The tour, which is expected to go through to the spring, will initially include stops in California before heading east and ending at the Langerado Festival in Miami, Florida.
Hailed by critics as a musical visionary, Franti has earned and maintained a reputation as one of the best live acts in the business. Franti & Spearhead consistently deliver an electrically charged, and ultimately unforgettable, musical experience for fans.
In his desire to consistently connect with and inspire his audience, Michael creates a concert atmosphere that celebrates not only music but life. 2008 has been a banner year for Michael Franti with his latest album, All Rebel Rockers, becoming the first Top 40 album of his music career.
