"Sing Sparrow Sing” is from The Milk Carton Kids brand new album Monterey which was recorded not in studios, but on the stages of concert halls, churches, and theaters across North America. "There was no audience, but we wanted to approximate as closely as possible the experience that we have when we're onstage, and capture whatever that seems to do to our performances. It seems to engender a great deal of fearlessness and a lack of preciousness that's easy to fall victim to when you're in a high-pressure situation like the studio."
The Milk Carton Kids’ Monterey arrives May 19th.
