Fresh on the heels of their Americana Award nomination for Best Emerging Artist and celebratory return appearance on A Prairie Home Companion, THE MILK CARTON KIDS today release a live performance video of their expansive and emotional ballad, “Years Gone By”. Their performance marks the inaugural session In Team Coco’s new digital studio. The duo made their national late night television debut on Conan in late March and were invited back to perform another selection from their acclaimed Anti- debut album The Ash & Clay. THE MILK CARTON KIDS just wrapped their headlining tour of North America with a sold-out show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Time Out New York raved, “Seeing this L.A. folk duo live is like being whisked back to an early-’60s concert hall, such is its old-fashioned banter and charm—only it’s way more fun and silly than that suggests. Musically, the pair combines what you love about Simon & Garfunkel and the Everly Brothers with something absolutely its own.”
Later this week the band will perform at The Telluride Bluegrass Festival, followed by dates with Josh Ritter, their debut appearance at The Newport Folk Festival, a European tour, and dates with Over The Rhine.
